# Quickstart Unecast: Connect, Automate, and Go Live

> Create your Unecast account, connect a channel, invite your team, and deploy an AI agent - all in one guided onboarding flow here.

Getting your business onto Unecast takes less time than you might expect. This guide walks you through every step - from creating your free account to sending your first message or launching your first automation. You don't need a developer, and you don't need a credit card to start.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following ready:

* **A business phone number** - a mobile or landline number that isn't already registered to the WhatsApp Business App. If your number is currently on WhatsApp Business App, Unecast can help you migrate it.
* **A Facebook Business Manager account** - required to connect WhatsApp via the WhatsApp Business API. If you don't have one yet, [follow Meta's setup guide](https://business.facebook.com/) before proceeding. Unecast walks you through this during setup.
* **Admin access to your website or documents** *(optional, for AI agent)* - your website URL or uploaded PDFs become the AI agent's knowledge base.

> Unecast manages the WhatsApp Business API verification process on your behalf. You don't need to apply to Meta directly or configure any API credentials yourself - Unecast handles the technical setup end to end.

## Onboarding steps

**1. Create your free account**

Go to [flow.unecast.com](https://flow.unecast.com/signup) and sign up with your business email address. No credit card is required - your account starts on the Free plan immediately.

Once signed in, you'll land in the Unecast dashboard. A setup checklist guides you through the remaining steps at your own pace.

**2. Connect your first channel**

Navigate to **Settings → Channels** and select the channel you want to add first. Unecast supports:

* **WhatsApp** (via WhatsApp Business API) - most popular starting point
* **Live Chat** - embed a web widget on your website

For WhatsApp, click **Connect WhatsApp** and follow the in-app prompts. Unecast guides you through the Facebook Business Manager verification flow. Most verifications complete within a few minutes to a few hours depending on your account status.

Once connected, incoming messages from that channel appear immediately in your unified inbox.

**3. Invite your team**

Navigate to **Settings → Team Members** and click **Invite Member**. Enter your colleague's email address and assign them a role:

* **Admin** - full access to settings, modules, messaging channels, billing, and all conversations
* **Member** - access to the inbox and assigned conversations; cannot change account settings

Team members receive an invitation email with a link to set up their account. You can invite as many team members as your plan allows, and add more at any time for \$10/month per additional user.
